Resilience

We all want to teach our kids resiliency, and want it for ourselves. How do we build it?

The best way to build resiliency is to learn through experience that we can face challenges and make it through to the other side. We don’t have to be alone in this, and neither do our kids. We can guide them, and let them go. We can take the risk of letting them take risks, and be there when they fall. Finding that balance is part of the work in parenting and personal growth.

It’s better to regret doing something than to regret not taking that chance.
